Hyungmin Jung, MD – General Surgery

Dr. Jung was born and raised in South Korea until he moved to Texas in 2006. He earned a Bachelor’s Science degree in Biology and Business Administration at University of Texas at Dallas and Doctor of Medicine degree at University of Texas Health San Antonio. He completed his residency training in general surgery at University of Texas Health San Antonio and Texas Tech University at Permian Basin. After completing his residency, he joined North Texas Surgical Specialists, returning to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. He is fluent in Korean and also studying Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and playing tennis.

Dr. Jung is a member of American College of Surgeons, American and Texas Medical Associations, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
